Noble’s Pond Named First State “Favorite” for 4th Year
Locals Cast Their Votes for Popular Active Adult Community
Every day at Noble’s Pond, we get the pleasure of seeing residents in the prime of their life enjoying the time of their life. It’s equally gratifying to earn the approval of members of the surrounding community. Again this year, Noble’s Pond was voted a First State Favorite by readers of the Dover Post Smyrna Clayton Sun Times.
For the fourth year running, Noble’s Pond has been recognized as the Best 55+ Community in the newspaper’s First State Favorites competition. Annually, area residents vote for their top picks in categories including 55-plus communities, entertainment, dining, education, finance and shopping.
“It was quite an honor to be recognized by our local friends and neighbors with this distinction,” says Noble’s Pond vice president, Justin Olear. Asked what makes the active adult community such a standout, Olear points to the peaceful 300-acre setting just outside of Dover, the handsome freestanding homes and the strong sense of community.
Residents are beginning to anticipate the annual spring opening of the popular outdoor pool. Throughout the year, the 10,000-square-foot clubhouse, known as The Point, is a headquarters for fun and fitness. Other amenities include wooded walking trails, a community garden and onsite ponds for fishing and paddling. A full-time lifestyle director leads trips to top U.S. and overseas destinations.
Exterior maintenance and landscaping are provided by the community. That makes it easy for residents to travel to popular destinations like Delaware’s legendary beaches, Philadelphia and New York City. The floor plans feature contemporary kitchen design, wide-open living spaces, deluxe master suites and room for guests and hobbies.
