Travel Adventures with Noble’s Pond
One thing Noble’s Pond Homeowners love to do is…travel! Throughout the year, there are multiple opportunities to continue to enjoy their active, 55+ lifestyle through the many trips (near and far) completely planned by our award-winning Lifestyle Director, Colleen Ostafy.
Recently, a group of more than 60 of our homeowners enjoyed a Mediterranean cruise with fine dining, drinks, and onboard entertainment. When not at sea, they explored the many glorious sights offered at each port of call.
The first stop was Barcelona, Spain. A city known for its architecture and world-class cuisine, it is one of the most visited cities in Europe. Homeowners traveled around the city taking in the sights and spirited culture that surrounded them.
From there, they traveled to Palma de Mallorca, a popular location for its beaches and the famous Catedral-Basilica de Santa Maria. Homeowners got an up-close look at this historic gem that overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and offers plenty of beautiful backdrop opportunities for pictures!
Our homeowners then sailed to Marseille, France, one of the sunniest major cities in France. They also took time to sit with fellow homeowners to chat about the trip while enjoying refreshing beverages and local cuisine.
While visiting La Spezia, Italy, homeowners got to take in the sights of the towns they passed as they traveled onward to the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. With it still standing or leaning as we should say, they took time to capture the moment, full of smiles.
The next port of call was Civitavecchia, Italy, which gave homeowners the opportunity to visit Rome. As they say, “when in Rome,” you must throw coins in the Trevi fountain, visit the Colosseum, and of course, enjoy some refreshing gelato.
With the trip winding down, and Homeowners stopping at their last city, Napoli, various groups traveled to local hotspots. Destinations included Capri, Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. Stories were exchanged about what they saw and did as they enjoyed a cocktail party back on the ship later that day. A great way to close out the adventures had by all. Be sure to view their video capturing all the fun and exciting moments and sights Homeowners enjoyed throughout the trip.
“We enjoyed our Mediterranean Cruise with our future Noble’s Pond neighbors immensely and were pleasantly surprised with their friendliness, warmth, and their eagerness to welcome us to their community, and what a fun group; As this was our first trip overseas, this was the perfect group to explore new adventures in Europe. We look forward to moving to Noble’s Pond & and traveling with them in the future,” said future Homeowners Everton and Diana.
With more trips planned for later this year, homeowners look forward to venturing out once again with the friends they’ve made while living at Noble’s Pond. You can enjoy all that life has to offer when you live in this amazing community. Contact us to learn more!
